Job Summary
We are seeking skilled and reliable Chefs and Cooks to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidates will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals, maintaining food safety and hygiene standards, and supporting smooth kitchen operations. Applicants should be passionate about food, able to work in a fast-paced environment, and committed to consistency, cleanliness, and teamwork.

Prepare, cook, and present food according to menu specifications and company standards

Ensure all meals are prepared on time and with consistent quality

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation at all times

Follow proper food handling, storage, labeling, and temperature control procedures

Keep workstations, kitchen equipment, and storage areas clean and organized

Inspect ingredients for freshness and quality before use

Assist with portion control and minimising food waste

Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and kitchen policies

Work closely with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Report equipment faults, shortages, or food safety risks immediately

Comply with health, safety, and company regulations at all times
Food Safety & Hygiene Requirements

Strict adherence to food safety standards and hygiene regulations
-
Proper handwashing, use of protective clothing, and personal cleanliness
-
Safe handling of raw and cooked foods to prevent cross-contamination
-
Correct storage of food items (FIFO method)
-
Cleaning and sanitising surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
-
Immediate reporting of any contamination, spoilage, or health risks
Requirements
Qualifications & Requirements

Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (restaurant, hotel, or production kitchen)

Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene standards

Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Strong teamwork and communication skills

Reliable, disciplined, and punctual

Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and events

Culinary training or certification is an added advantage
